EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission)

According to USEEOC regulations, it is illegal to harass an employee or applicant based on their sex. This includes sexual harassment—such as unwelcome sexual advances or physical harassment—as well as offensive remarks about a person’s gender. Conduct is considered unlawful when it is severe or frequent enough to create a hostile work environment or result in adverse employment decisions, regardless of whether the harasser is a supervisor, co-worker, or client.
